Preteen Camp Day 4

We are in the home stretch now! The kids are having a great time but some are looking forward to coming home. The kids all say hello.

We are now headed to dinner followed by a candlight service on the lakefront. It is always an amazing time of worship as we head through the woods to the lake guided by candlelight. Last night we had 53 kids make decisions for Christ...how wonderful!

Day 3...what seems like 27!

It is hot, but no mosquitos! We did find a scorpion in one of the girl's showers. Fortunately all of the girls were still sleeping and still have not heard the news!

Word on the street is it's ravioli for dinner... enough said.

Tonight is Organized Mass Chaos. The only difference from any other night is this one will be organized!

The kids are doing well and making lots of new friends. Worship is great each night. We have great music and a relevant message each evening.

All is good. We will post more tomorrow if time permits.

We arrived at camp on time yesterday. The kids quickly settled into our cabin and began to explore the camp. They enjoyed a yummy dinner of brisket, broccoli rice casserole, and beans. The best part was banana pudding for dessert.

Then the long trek to the worship center.... We had an awesome time of worship. Your kids love worship each night. Then Pastor Scott challenged us to be ready! See Joshua chapter 3. Lights out is at 10:30 and of course with all of the first night excitement it was a little later than that. I think they will sleep much sooner tonight....

Rise and shine at 7am followed by breakfast and morning worship. The kids had Bible study and recreation this morning and after lunch the girls went on the ropes course and archery and the boys did archery and a adventure trail.

I think the kids are having a great time...it is time for dinner. Look for pictures tomorrow.

Pre-teen Camp July 10-14th

Pre-teen camp is just around the corner....woohoo! Hopefully the rain will hold off and we don't get stuck in the cabins all week with 80 kids, going nuts! Our theme this year is Camp E.D.G.E. We are going to Explore, Discover, Grow, and Experience God throughout the week and can hardly wait. Parents continue to watch our blog next week. We will do our best to keep everyone up to date on all the festivities throughout the week! Can't wait for Saturday!!!
